Beautiful is in the details.
Building a lifetime of memories.
Candlelight Homes has always been about more than houses. It’s about the families inside them — and creating the places where childhoods happen, neighbors become friends, and life is lived beyond the screen.
Our mission
The most beautiful homes, at the greatest value.
That’s been our purpose from the start — and it still drives every floor plan, every finish, and every neighborhood we build. Beautiful shouldn’t mean unattainable, and value shouldn’t mean cutting corners. We refuse to choose between the two.
But somewhere along the way, we realized a beautiful home is only the beginning. What families really want is a beautiful life — and that takes more than four walls.

The moment that started it
What if a neighborhood pulled kids back outside?
It hit us watching kids run free in nature — the scraped-knees, ride-til-dark, come-home-for-dinner kind of childhood so many of us grew up with and worried our own kids were missing.
That was the spark for Firefly: not just homes, but a whole community engineered to get families off their devices and back into real life — together, outdoors, with neighbors who actually know each other.
Our vision
Memories beyond screens.
We want to build a place where kids ditch their devices and families reconnect — where childhoods are filled with adventures, scraped knees, and lasting memories. Where your children, and one day their children, grow up with happy, healthy childhoods. That’s the home we’re really building.
How we got here
The journey to Firefly.
The beginning
A simple belief
Candlelight Homes was founded on the idea that a beautiful home shouldn't be out of reach. From day one, the goal was the most beautiful home at the greatest value — and an experience built on relationships, not pressure.
Growing up
Communities across Utah
Bluffdale, Herriman, Saratoga Springs, North Salt Lake and beyond. Neighborhood by neighborhood, thousands of families built beautiful with us — and we learned that the home is only half the story; the community is the other half.
The Nature Valley moment
An idea for something bigger
Watching kids run free outdoors — the way childhood used to feel — sparked a vision: a community designed to pull families off their screens and back into real life together.
Today
Firefly comes to life
More than four years of planning became Firefly — a 350+ acre master-planned community in Eagle Mountain with parks, trails, sports complexes, and Utah's only full-time community Activities Director.
What it comes down to
It’s all about relationships.
Beautiful is in the details — but the most important details are the people. We design around how families actually live, we listen, and we’ll be there every step of the way. That’s the difference between buying a house and building a home with someone who cares how the story ends.
